 UPPCS (J) stands for Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (Judicial) exam. It is a state-level examination conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) for the recruitment of Civil Judge (Junior Division) in the state of Uttar Pradesh.

The UPPCS (J) exam is conducted in three stages: Preliminary exam, Mains exam, and Interview. The preliminary exam is an objective type test while the mains exam is subjective in nature.

The eligibility criteria for UPPCS (J) exam are:

Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree from a recognized university or institution.

Age Limit: The minimum age limit is 22 years and the maximum age limit is 35 years.
